EYE CREAM PRECAUTIONS

Eye cream precautions are important to observe as any undesirable result can have a serious effect on the way you look. Most of the precautions are based on common sense, and the user should be aware of the effect the eye cream is having. Diligent observation should be exercised while using any facial product, after all it is you face – your very social identity – that may end up with undesirable results.

1. If you have had skin problems in the past, then using an eye cream or facial cream must be preceded by expert consultation to ensure safety.
   
   
2. No eye cream is supposed to be applied inside the eyelids. Do not apply on the outside of the lids if you are worried of its slowly going inside the eyes.
   
   
3. Liquid applications must be used carefully as advised as they have greater chances of making their way in the eyes.
   
   
4. Some skin problems are due to allergies and medical conditions, and these must be attended to by a physician. Eye creams are not meant to cure medical conditions.
   
   
5. Most such products are to be kept out of reach of children.
   
   
6. Many products try to impress the consumers with a long list of botanical ingredients and claims about their natural properties. A judicious approach is recommended. At least compare prices of several such products and chose one that combine most of them and still offer a lower rate.
   
   
7. Skin is a part of our body and is therefore subject to our diet and lifestyle. Making changes in these may bring better results than superficial creams.
   
   
8. After applying the cream, keep yourself under self observation for any adverse or unwanted reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, excessive dryness, etc. Discontinue the use of such products and seek advice if symptoms persist.
   
   
9. Read the prints or booklets that come with such products carefully, especially what to do if the product accidentally gets into your eyes, or for other unwanted results.
   
   
10. Be wary of tall claims like reversing the aging process, or products that deliver instant results.
